Implementação de sistemas de informação para o planeamento e otimização da produção

Abstract

A Engenharia e Gestão Industrial trabalha para eliminar desperdícios de tempo, dinheiro, materiais e energia. Para atingir esses objetivos a utilização eficaz de sistemas de informação (SI) torna-se imprescindível. No caso da otimização e planeamento da produção no chão de fábrica o Sistema de Planeamento Avançado ou APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems) pode fornecer vantagens competitivas às empresas. É com base nesta premissa que um projeto assente no estudo e na implementação de um APS, torna-se vital. O projeto incide objetivamente sobre os fatores críticos de sucesso numa implementação APS e sobre uma metodologia de implementação para o mesmo. A estrutura do projeto é constituída pelas seguintes fases: Inicialmente será feita uma introdução na qual é descrito o enquadramento e os seus objetivos, e de seguida será explicada a estrutura da dissertação. Na segunda fase será efetuada uma revisão de literatura dos sistemas de informação, no qual está incluído o sistema APS e os desafios encontrados na implementação dos mesmos. Na terceira fase será feita uma descrição da empresa Softinov e do software Softinov APS. Na quarta fase será definida uma metodologia para a implementação de sistemas APS. E por fim na quinta fase serão feitas as considerações finais do projeto.

The Industrial Engineering and Management works to eliminate waste of time, money, materials and energy. To achieve these goals the effective use of information systems (IS) becomes essential. In the case of optimization and production planning on the shop floor, the Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems or APS can provide competitive advantages to companies. It is on this premise that a project based on the study and implementation of an APS, is a key concern. The project focuses on the critical success factors in implementing APS and on an implementation methodology for it. The project structure consists of the following phases: first is an introduction in which is described the framework and its objectives, and then will be explained the structure of the dissertation. In the second phase will be conducted a literature review of information systems, in which is included the APS system and the challenges faced in his implementation. In the third phase will be made a description of the Softinov Company and its software Softinov APS. In the fourth phase is will be defined a methodology to implement APS systems. Finally in the fifth phase will take place the final considerations.
