Motivar alunos em artes visuais, com a recriação didática de imagens

Abstract

A presente investigação procura aferir as potencialidades da recriação de uma imagem em contexto educativo como fator motivacional no desenvolvimento das inteligências múltiplas. Antes da aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita os alunos são cognitivamente estimulados através do sentido da visão. Daí advém a motivação necessária para o seu desenvolvimento integrado. É uma evidência histórica que o recurso à imagem, enquanto representante de objetos fisicamente inacessível e significante de conceitos abstratos, provoca uma resposta emocional nas mais baixas faixas etárias. Uma educação humanizada não é concebível sem um papel ativo das artes visuais. É patente, porém, a recorrente falta de motivação dos alunos do 3.º ciclo para as disciplinas associadas às artes visuais. Significa isto que algures no percurso escolar a apetência generalizada e espontânea pelo desenho e pela pintura esvanece-se. Operacionalizando uma investigação predominantemente qualitativa e enveredando por uma observação direta e participativa, desenvolvemos com uma turma de alunos um trabalho de recriação pictórica a partir de uma pintura de Picasso:“ Guernica.” Pela sua carga emotiva e pela sua importância histórica, esta imagem foi selecionada com o intuito de motivar e enfatizar as inteligências espacial e emocional dos discentes.

This research seeks to assess the potential of recreating an image in educational context as a motivational factor in the development of multiple intelligences. Before learning of reading and writing students are cognitively stimulated through the sense of sight. Hence comes the necessary motivation for its integrated development. Is a historical evidence that the feature in the image, as a representative of physically inaccessible and significant objects of abstract concepts, provokes an emotional response in the lower age groups. A humanized education is not conceivable without an active role of the Visual Arts. It is clear, however, the applicant's lack of motivation of students in the third cycle for the disciplines associated with the Visual Arts. This means that somewhere along the way the school readiness generalized and spontaneously by drawing and paint fading. Operationalizing a predominantly qualitative research and engage in a participatory and direct observation, developed with a class of students a work of pictorial recreation from a painting by Picasso: "Guernica." For their emotional charge and its historic importance, this image was selected in order to motivate and emphasize the spatial and emotional intelligences of students.
