Projeto educativo: participação dos educadores de infância num agrupamento

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo estudar e compreender o projeto educativo e a participação dos educadores de infância na sua construção. Após uma análise exaustiva de obras referentes ao tema podemos dizer que o projeto educativo é um documento imposto pela política vigente e que deverá ser um vértice importante em toda a dinâmica escolar de um agrupamento e de uma escola. Abordamos uma temática complexa, “A hipocrisia”. Em todas as instituições, e com o objectivo comum de homogeneizar comportamentos e atitudes, a direção da instituição tende a bloquear determinadas ações dos seus funcionários. No agrupamento de escolas em estudo foi visível esta dinâmica no receio das respostas das educadoras e nas respostas padronizadas que fomos obtendo. Foram efetuadas entrevistas a nove educadoras de infância e a uma Coordenadora do Agrupamento. A análise das entrevistas revela respostas contraditórias e que poderão originar alguns questionamentos sobre a real importância do projeto educativo e a sua utilização por parte das educadoras. No decorrer das entrevistas algumas das educadoras recusaram gravar com medo de represálias, apesar de terem sido informadas sobre a confidencialidade de todo o processo. Foi ainda notório que algumas respostas foram dadas de forma “obrigatória” pois politicamente eram as mais corretas. No final deste percurso podemos concluir que o projeto educativo não é compreendido corretamente e é visto como um documento obrigatório e não como ferramenta de apoio ao ensino. Os educadores de infância, têm tido cada vez um papel mais ativo na elaboração do projeto educativo. Este trabalho vem reforçar a investigação em Portugal que mostra a construção e disponibilização de documentos orientadores da vida das escolas apenas para dar cumprimento a exigências de ordem legal. Ainda estamos longe da sua instrumentalização ao serviço de propósitos pedagógicos e didáticos da ação concreta dos educadores.

This piece of research analyses the involvement of early childhood educators in the creation of school educational projects. After a thorough examination of reference works on the subject we can say that the educational project is an imposed document by the current policy and should be an important vertex throughout the school dynamics of a school group and a school. We approach a complicated subject – hypocrisy. In all institutions, and with the common goal to standardize behavior and attitudes, the direction of the institution tends to block certain actions of its employees. In the school cluster under study, was visible this dynamic in the fear of the answers of the educators and in the standard answers given by them. Interviews were made to nine early childhood educators and to one Coordinator of Schools Clusters. The data analysis reveals contradictory answers and that may lead to some questions about the real importance of the educational project and its use by educators. During the interviews some of the educators refused to record the interviews with fear of reprisals despite having been alerted to the confidentiality regime. Was also noticeable that some answers were “forced” just because were more ethically. At the end of this journey we can conclude that the educational project is not understood properly and is seen as a mandatory document and not as a support tool to teaching. Early childhood educators, have become increasingly more active in the development of the educational project. This work reinforces research in Portugal, showing the construction and delivery of guiding documents in the school life merely to fulfill the requirements of legal nature. We still far from its application to the service of teaching and didactic purposes of concrete action of educators.
