Interacção e utilização de serviços de comunicação em comunidades de aprendizagem

Abstract

Num ambiente de aprendizagem colaborativo, os serviços de comunicação permitem mediar as interacções entre as pessoas envolvidas no processo de aprendizagem. Entre outros factores, as diferenças individuais podem vir a influenciar as interacções em tais ambientes. Neste sentido, é propósito deste trabalho, apresentar um estudo sobre as interacções sociais dos alunos, enquanto grupo de aprendizagem e comunidade de aprendizagem – off-line e on-line (com recurso a software social). Analisar até que ponto o comunicar presencialmente ou on-line provoca mudanças significativas nas interacções sociais, procurando, assim, entender melhor as necessidades dos alunos e as respectivas implicações para a educação.

ABSTRACT: In a collaborative learning environment, communication technology allows the mediation of the interactions between those involved in the learning process. Among other factors, individual differences may influence the interactions in such environments. Then, the purpose of this work is to present a study concerning the development of students' social interactions as a learning group in contexts of learning community - offline and online (using social software). It also presents an analysis on how communicating in person or on-line causes significant changes in social interactions, seeking a better understanding on the students’ needs and their implications for education.
