As "folhas velhas" da fábrica da Vista Alegre : experimentando o acaso

Abstract

O projeto investiga os processos de construção das “Folhas Velhas”, os papéis reciclados de decalque da seção de serigrafia da Fábrica de Porcelana da Vista Alegre. Através da revisão bibliográfica, insere-se as “Folhas Velhas” no campo de imagens contemporâneas e faz-se uma abordagem aos conceitos de experiência, palimpsesto, Design e artefato que reflete a postura exercida durante a experiência do projeto. Desenvolve-se uma metodologia de interação com o acaso no que concerne à análise visual e à experimentação com as Folhas Velhas. Realiza-se uma série de peças experimentais e exclusivas que são os estandartes da prática realizada na fábrica e das discussões teóricas empreendidas.

The project investigates the processes of building "Folhas Velhas", the recycled decal paper from the screen printing section of the Vista Alegre Porcelain Factory. Through the literature review, it inserts the "Folhas Velhas" in the field of contemporary images, and it is an approach to the concepts of experience, palimpsest, Design and artifact that reflects the position applied during the project experience. It develops a methodology for interaction with the chance with regard to their visual analysis and experimentation of “Folhas Velhas”. Makes a series of experimental and unique parts that are the standards of the practice carried out in the factory and of the theoretical discussions taken.
