Publicação de revistas cientificas em Portugal : políticas e práticas nos estudos literários

Abstract

A avaliação da produção científica, importante para o reconhecimento dos investigadores junto da comunidade correspondente, é feita através da aplicação de diversos indicadores bibliométricos que se dividem em indicadores de qualidade e impacto científicos. Assim, numa primeira fase do estudo, pretende-se caracterizar um conjunto de revistas científicas na área dos Estudos Literários financiadas pela Fundação Ciência e Tecnologia, seguidamente iremos caracterizar os principais indicadores bibliométricos tendo em conta as suas vantagens e limitações e as ferramentas bibliométricas, posto isto será analisada a indexação destas revistas nas bases de dados escolhidas.

The evaluation of scientific production, which is important for recognition of researchers with the corresponding community, is done by applying various bibliometric indicators that fall into indicators of quality and scientific impact. Thus, in a first phase of the study is intended to characterize a set of scientific journals in the field of Literary Studies funded by the Science and Technology Foundation. Then we will characterize the main bibliometric indicators taking into account their advantages and limitations and bibliometric tools. Finally we will analyze the indexing of the previous journals in the chosen data bases.
