Abstract: | This article discusses the limits and potential uses of mobile technologies in teaching, from the point of view of Portuguese teachers of compulsory education, with a special focus on "Magellan Project” laptop computers. This reflection was constructed from the analysis of group interviews, conducted with practicing teachers in the central region of Portugal. Some data were also obtained from an online survey submitted to about 50 teachers during training on this subject. The feedback from these interviews was analysed in order to justify the present report. |
