Os estilos de aprendizagem através da metodologia projetual de Munari

Abstract

Este relatório de estágio propõe-se a explorar a metodologia projetual de Bruno Munari aplicada à disciplina de Educação Visual no 9º ano de escolaridade do 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico. Tem como objetivo perceber de que maneira esta metodologia pode influenciar a aprendizagem dos alunos através da avaliação do processo criativo. Sugere ainda perceber a relação entre a metodologia projetual e o estilo de aprendizagem preferencial de cada aluno, revelado nas respostas ao questionário VARK, considerando que a necessidade de idealizar novos métodos de ensino é fundamental para um ajustamento constante às necessidades quotidianas das escolas Portuguesas. O estudo em si consiste na transportação das etapas da metodologia projetual de Bruno Munari em etapas de unidades de trabalho da disciplina de Educação Visual. Para avaliar cada etapa foi utilizado uma grelha de avaliação do processo criativo baseado nos critérios de Eça. Ao mesmo tempo, os alunos foram categorizados segundo os seus estilos de aprendizagem a partir dos resultados que cada um obteve no questionário VARK de Fleming. Para análise de dados, foram comparados os resultados da avaliação do processo criativo com o estilo de aprendizagem de cada aluno. Apesar da pequena amostra, foram verificadas melhorias significativas em relação ao estilo de aprendizagem visual.

This dissertation aims to explore the Bruno Munari project methodology in the subject of Visual Education in the 9th grade of the 3rd cycle of Basic Teaching. Its objective is to understand the way this methodology can influence the learning of the students through the evaluation of the creative process. It also tries to understand the relation between project methodology and the preferred learning style of each student, shown by the answers given to the VARK questionnaire, considering the need to come up with new teaching methods is fundamental for a constant adjustment to the daily needs of Portuguese schools. The study itself consists of the transferral of the phases of Bruno Munari's project methodology into work unit phases on a Visual Education course. To evaluate each phase an evaluation grid for the creative process based on Eça's criteria was used. At the same time, the students were categorized according to their learning styles from the results each of them got in Fleming's VARK survey. For the data analysis the results from the evaluation of the creative process were compared with the learning style of each student. In spite of the small sample significant improvement was found in relation to the visual learning style.
