Interpretações do vinho do Porto através de criações artísticas

Abstract

Este documento apresenta um estudo elaborado com alunos de 9º ano da Escola Secundária António Sérgio, na disciplina de Educação Visual, sendo realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Artes Visuais no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, consistindo na elaboração de interpretações do vinho do Porto através de criações artísticas. Partindo da hipótese que os discentes não possuíam muitos conhecimentos sobre os conteúdos a abordar no projeto, a presente investigação partiu deste enunciado onde foi desenvolvido um projeto centrado na criação artística sobre o vinho do Porto. Para isso, considerou-se pertinente perceber o conhecimento dos alunos acerca dessa temática, através da elaboração de inquéritos e a realização de uma visita de estudo ao Museu do vinho do Porto, às Caves Cálem e ao estaleiro de construção de barcos rabelos, assim como o desenvolvimento de competências através da criação artística, considerando-se importante relacionar uma referência de cariz nacional, com reconhecimento mundial, como o vinho do Porto, por via da educação e da arte. A presente investigação fundamentou-se numa metodologia de investigação-ação e por uma abordagem pela metodologia triangular, demonstrando que o projeto resultou numa experiência favorável para os discentes, concluindo-se que a sua implementação, influenciou as escolhas dos alunos, revelando a pertinência e justificação do mesmo perante a temática abordada.

This document presents a study executed with 9th grade students from Secondary School António Sérgio, in Visual Education classes, being performed under the scope of the Master Degree in Teaching Visual Arts in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and in Secondary Education, and it consists in the elaboration of Port Wine interpretations through artistic creations. Assuming that students did not have much knowledge about the content to be addressed in design, this research came from this statement where it was developed a project focused on artistic creation on the port. For this, it was considered relevant to realize the students' knowledge about the theme through the performance of surveys, conducting study visits to the Port Wine Museum, the Cálem cellars and the Rabelo boats construction shipyard as well as the development of skills through artistic creation, considering important to relate the Port Wine country cultural theme at a global level through education and art. This research was based on a methodology of research-action and an approach by triangular methodology, demonstrating that the project resulted in a positive experience for the students, concluding that its implementation influenced their choices and thus revealing its relevance and reason.
