A escola violinística russa do século XX e a sua presença em Portugal

Abstract

A presença em Portugal de muitos violinistas do Leste da Europa, em especial vindos da EX-URSS, aliada a uma longa admiração por intérpretes Russos e Soviéticos, levou-me a questionar as razões do sucesso dos intérpretes oriundos desta região tanto a nível português como internacionalmente. Os principais objectivos desta investigação são clarificar as causas do sucesso da Escola Violinistica Russa no século XX, possíveis especificidades técnicas, principais diferenças entre o ensino musical russo e português e de que modo esta Escola se implantou e desenvolveu entre nós através da realização de pesquisa bibliográfica e entrevistas.

ABSTRACT: The presence in Portugal of many violinists from East Europe, in special from EX-USSR, allied to a long admiration of Russian and Soviet interpreters, let me to question the reasons of the success of these interpreters in Portugal and abroad. The main goals of this investigation are to clarify the causes of the success of the Russian Violin School in the XX century, possible technical specificities, main differences between the musical teaching in Portugal and Russia and how this School has established and developed using bibliographic research and interviews.
