Aspectos performativos do repertório ibérico quinhentista para canto e vihuela

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação em performance musical pretende constituir um aprofundamento da cognoscibilidade do repertório ibérico quinhentista para canto e vihuela. Partindo da confluência de dois níveis de enquadramento – as principais etapas associadas ao percurso da performance musical histórica e as particularidades do ambiente cultural ibérico no contexto europeu quinhentista – exploram-se algumas das mais marcantes características desse repertório, cuja observância constituirá, desejavelmente, um factor distintivo e enriquecedor de fundamentação criativa em actuais e futuras abordagens performativas.

ABSTRACT: This research in musical performance aims to deepen the cognoscibility of the 16th-century Iberian repertory for voice and vihuela. Supported by a doublelayered framework – with the confluence of insights into the main stages of historical musical performance and the peculiarities of the Iberian cultural environment in the context of 16th-century Europe – some of the most remarkable features of this repertory are explored in a way which will desirably be a distinctive and improving factor of creative substantiation, both in present and future performing approaches.
