This paper proposes a theoretical framework suitable for the realization of maximum flat group delay transfer functions in delayed feedback amplifiers. Theoretical results are presented for first order negative feedback amplifiers having a delay element inside the feedback loop. The achieved results show that under the maximum flat group delay conditions, it is possible to reach 100% bandwidth improvement for the closed loop case, when compared to the non-delayed case.pt
