Imaginação ao poder em educação visual

Abstract

As atividades desenvolvidas em contexto de estágio tiveram como base o reavivar da Imaginação ao poder aliada à educação visual. A Imaginação ao poder nos anos 60 foi o apelo à renovação. Ainda hoje é necessário difundir esta velha máxima mas precisamos de saber o que é que ela representa aos olhos da sociedade de hoje. As escolas, como pilares fundamentais no desenvolvimento educativo dos alunos, devem incentivá-los à imaginação e à transformação de consciências. Existem inúmeras escolas alternativas que o fazem em oposição à escola normativa a que estamos habituados. Este estudo teve como momentos centrais o desenvolvimento de três ações artísticas que decorreram no espaço escolar numa tentativa de aproximar a arte ao resto da escola. Com estas ações pretendíamos incentivar as pessoas a questionar e a pensar. Cada ação teve um tema que os alunos exploraram e criaram para que o público pudesse intervir e contribuir com as suas opiniões e ideias. A escola, comumente associada a uma instituição que valoriza as disciplinas associadas à razão, despertou para a imaginação e para a criatividade num espaço de interfaces onde o conhecimento se liga.

The activities that took place during this internship were mostly based on the revival of the All power to the imagination, coupled with visual education. All power to the imagination, in the 60's, was a plea for renovation. Even today there is a need to spread this old concept, although we first need to understand what it represents in the eyes of modern society. The schools, the very important pillars of the education of our young, must incentivize them to the imagination and the transformation of conscience. There are indeed several schools that do just that, contrary to the orthodox schooling process we all grew accustomed to. This study revolved around the creation of three artistic happenings, which took place in a school, in an attempt to bring arts closer to the rest of the school environment. With these happenings, we tried to make people think and question. Each happening had a theme developed and explored by the students for the public to later intervene and contribute for, with their own ideas and opinions. The school, associated with an institution that values those subjects that go hand-in-hand with reason, awoke to the imagination and creativity in a space with interfaces, where knowledge is connected.
