Putos do Pombal: uma nova narrativa social?

Abstract

O presente trabalho é o resultado de um Projecto de Investigação-Acção Participativa, construído com um grupo de 7 crianças entre os 6 e os 12 anos de idade, habitantes num bairro social, situado no distrito de Lisboa. O trabalho de campo ocorreu durante o período de seis meses, entre Janeiro e Junho de 2009, tendo sido realizados um total de 39 encontros com o grupo de crianças. Durante os encontros, foram construídos pelas crianças um conjunto de produtos comunicacionais, nos quais deram a conhecer as visões simbólicas dos seus mundos sociais e culturais, apresentando-os depois a outros grupos de crianças provenientes de contextos diferentes dos seus. O projecto teve como preocupações teóricas e sociais de partida as temáticas da exclusão e da inclusão social, a condição social da infância, a cidadania, os direitos de participação infantil e o contributo do animador sóciocultural na reconstrução das identidades sociais. Com este trabalho quisemos privilegiar as crianças como sujeitos de direitos e como actores sociais participantes na leitura e na possível reconstrução da realidade social em que estão implicadas. A partir do Paradigma emergente sóciocrítico, a abordagem metodológica usada nos encontros com as crianças foi a investigação-acção participativa, recorrendo a técnicas participativas, enquadradas na Animação Sócio-Cultural. Durante o processo de investigação foi sendo reconstruída a narrativa social deste grupo de crianças, resultando no surgimento de uma nova narrativa social que possibilitou visibilidade identitária dos actores sociais participantes; construção de acção comunicativa em contextos informais; geração processos dialógicos, de cooperação e de alteridade e criação de espaço de cidadania residual e de momentos de participação infantil.

ABSTRACT: This present work is the result of a Participatory Action- Research Project, constructed with a group of 7 children between the ages of 6 and 7, habitants in a council estate, from the district of Lisbon. The field work took place during the period of six months, between January and June of 2009, performing a total of 39 encounters with the group of children. Throughout the encounters the children constructed a set of communicational products, in which they show the symbolical visions of their social and cultural worlds, lately presenting them to other groups of children from different contexts. The project had as theoretical and social concerns of base the themes of social exclusion and inclusion, the social condition of childhood, the citizenship, the rights of child participation and the contribution of the social and cultural animator in the reconstruction of social identities. With this work we aimed to enhance the children as subjects of rights and as participant social actors in the reading and possible reconstruction of the social reality in which they are implicated. From the offspring of the “socialcritical” emergent Paradigm, the methodological approach used in the encounters with the children was the participatory action-research, recurring to participatory techniques set within the Social-Cultural Animation. During the process of investigation the social narrative of this group of children was reconstructed, having as outcome a new social narrative which allowed identity visibility of the participants social actors; construction of communicational action in informal contexts; generation of dialogical processes of cooperation and of relationships with the other as other and creation of space of residual citizenship and of moments of childhood participation.
