Re-encontro: entre memória e identidade

Abstract

Nesta dissertação, trabalhei sobre a questão de identidade e a sua ligação à memória. Inspirei- me na aldeia dos meus avós, “Panoias”. Aldeia onde passei bons momentos da minha infância, e que tanto peso teve na minha formação como pessoa. A experiencia pessoal do contacto com a aldeia, tão diferente da cidade escolhida por minha mãe para habitar (Coimbra) - e a luta atual com a doença - levou-me a procurar explorar o tema, “RE-ENCONTRO: ENTRE MEMÓRIA E IDENTIDADE”, onde procuro fazer uma reflexão sobre o abandono do território, e consequente deslocação do lugar, através da fotografia e do vídeo como meios de expressão. As representações, presentes nos trabalhos práticos, sugerem o alargamento da memória, explorando as diferenças culturais que geram modos de pensar específicos de acordo com o papel que nelas ocupam a identidade e as memórias individuais.

In this dissertation, I worked on the issue of identity and its connection to the memory. Really inspired me in my grandparents ' village, "Panoias". The village where I spent good moments of my childhood, and that both had weight in my training as a person. The personal experience of contact with the village, so different from the city chosen by my mother to dwell (Coimbra) - and the current struggle with the disease - has led me to explore the theme, "REENCOUNTER: BETWEEN MEMORY AND IDENTITY", where I try to make a reflection about the abandonment of the territory and the consequent relocation of place, through photography and video as means of expression. The representations, present in practical work, suggests the enlargement of memory, exploring cultural differences that generate specific ways of thinking according to the role they occupy the identity and individual memories.
