Sobre o presidente do conselho executivo da escola : um estudo na região do Algarve

Abstract

O presente estudo pretende aprofundar os vários aspectos relacionados com o Presidente do Conselho Executivo da Escola. Assentou-se numa questão de partida, que orientou a nossa investigação, e à qual procurámos dar resposta: Qual o retrato-tipo do Presidente do Conselho Executivo na região do Algarve, e qual a opinião crítica sobre os aspectos que envolvem o seu processo de selecção e recrutamento? Procurando cumprir estas intenções, desenvolveu-se uma investigação do tipo quantitativo, dirigida aos Presidentes do Conselho Executivo da região do Algarve, que tenciona apresentar uma caracterização global, a nível pessoal e profissional, bem como, recolher a sua opinião crítica sobre os aspectos relacionados com o seu processo de selecção e recrutamento. Tenta, assim, conhecer e relacionar alguns aspectos relacionados com este actor. A nível metodológico, desenvolveu-se a investigação num plano contextualizador e caracterizador, suportado pelos dados colhidos num questionário construído para o efeito. Após análise dos resultados obtidos, verifica-se que foi possível encontrar um conjunto de vários aspectos característicos e regulares, que nos permitem apresentar um quadro com os traços do Presidente do Conselho Executivo do Algarve.

ABSTRACT: The present study aims to deepen several aspects that are related to the school Headmaster. To fulfil our purpose we have started by making a question, which has guided our investigation and to which we tried to find the answer: Which is the headmaster’s typifying – portrait in the Algarve region, and which is the critical opinion about the aspects that surround their selection and recruitment procedures? Aiming to accomplish these intentions, a quantitative investigation, addressed to all the Headmasters in the Algarve region, has been carried out, in order to give a global characteristic view, either at a professional and at a personal level. This investigation also aimed to collect their critical opinion about the several aspects that surround their selection and recruitment. It tries, therefore, to acknowledge and connect some aspects related to this character. At a methodological level, a characterising investigation in context has been carried out. This investigation has been supported by the collected data obtained through a questionnaire developed for this purpose. After the analysis of the obtained data, it was possible to find out a whole of several aspects, that are characteristic and regular, and that allow us to show a board with some specific features from the Headmasters in the Algarve region.
