Having come a long way, the book is now faced with a change in paradigms due the new communication media and forms of interaction resulting from a multimedia society. Admitting that this coexistence is not a threat to the book, but has enormous potential for rethinking the way we interact with the artifact book, is one of the main objectives of this dissertation. "Reading between worlds of paper and pixel" is a proposition for a possible evolution to the artifact book, an augmented interactive book in which combines typography, illustration and animation, integrated at both levels and developed a logic of complementarity between real and virtual. Such complementarity consists the impossibility to separate the two levels of, the digital not being limited to a repetition of the analog, but hiding contents that are not present in physical artefact and whose discovery process results in the construction of the narrative (in parallel with the videogame whose course is determined by the decisions of their players). In this sense, young readers are privileged users, due to his fascination with games and predisposition to learning and mastering new technologies, articulated the importance of developing a love of reading. For the development of interactive narrative the choice fell in A Floresta Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, relevant due to the fact that belongs to the national reading plan (taught during the 5th grade) and is a reference for generations of readers. |
