Universidade digital: integração de sistemas de informação da Unipiaget

Abstract

A Universidade sendo uma organização de carácter educacional necessita de sistemas de informação suportados pelas tecnologias de informação para automatizar os seus processos. Processos que automatizados tendem a ser disponibilizados através de uma plataforma em linha que culminará na informatização de alguns serviços e integração fontes de informação que muitas vezes encontram-se dispersos, tornando-se assim numa Universidade Digital. As soluções tecnológicas para Integração de Sistemas de Informação vieram possibilitar a interacção entre sistemas de informação heterogéneos para facilitar troca de serviços. A sua implementação deve ser realizada mediante as necessidades e realidade de cada organização, de modo a gerar bens e serviços para dinamizar os processos de negócios das mesmas. O presente trabalho visa apresentar uma proposta de integração entre sistemas em produção na UniPiaget, nomeadamente SGA – Moodle e BDigital, permitindo aos utilizadores o acesso cruzado, integrado e transparente através da interface do SGA a serviços de consulta de bibliografias na BDigital.

The University as an educational organization needs information systems supported by information technologies that computerize their processes. These processes are automatically transformed and made available through an online platform which culminates in the automation of some services and the integration of sources of information which are mostly scattered, transforming as such the institution into a Digital University. The technological solutions for Information System Integration ensure the interaction between heterogeneous information systems to facilitate (ex)change of services. Their implementation should be realized through the necessity and the reality of each organization in order to generate goods and services for the diversification of the business process. This work presents a proposal for the architecture of the integration of the systems in use at UniPiaget, namely SGA – Moodle and BDigital allowing the users interconnected access, integrated and transparent through the interface of the SGA in service of the bibliographic consultation in the BDigital.
