Avaliação de uma estratégia para a implementação de um plano de acção ambiental

Abstract

O presente trabalho consistiu na investigação da implementação de um plano de acção parcial numa organização industrial alimentar. O objectivo deste trabalho passou pela revisão e actualização do plano de acção existente na organização industrial e estabelecimento de uma estratégia de implementação onde foram definidas responsabilidades, calendarização, meios e a monitorização dessas acções. Os resultados obtidos nas monitorizações das acções implementadas demonstraram haver um aumento da melhoria do desempenho ambiental ao longo dos meses, sobretudo nos meses de Junho e Julho. Este trabalho foca também a investigação das dificuldades práticas sentidas na implementação das acções. Estas dificuldades foram identificadas, avaliadas e resolvidas. A principal dificuldade encontrada na implementação do plano de acção foi a falta de disponibilidade dos agentes responsáveis pela execução das acções ambientais da organização industrial, seguida da falta de clareza na definição das responsabilidades e a falta de disponibilidade dos fornecedores nas entregas dos equipamentos e das fichas técnicas e de segurança. Estas dificuldades mencionadas acarretaram atrasos significativos de 33 a 95 semanas para a implementação das acções do plano de acção parcial. Como resultado foram identificadas conjunturas de aperfeiçoamento, sendo apresentadas recomendações para prevenir as causas de atraso na implementação de acções ambientais e melhorar o desempenho ambiental da organização industrial.

ABSTRACT: The present work consisted in the investigation of a partial environmental action plan in a food industrial organization. The purpose of this work went through reviewing and updating the existing action plan in the food industrial organization and to establish a strategic implementation which defined responsibilities, timeline, resources and monitorization of these actions. The obtained results of the monitorization of the implemented actions, showed an increase of the environmental improvement performance over the months, especially in July and June. This work also focuses on the research of the difficulties found in the implementation of the actions. These difficulties were identified, evaluated and solved. The main difficulty found in the implementation of the action plan was the lack of availability of the responsible staff for implementing the environmental actions in the industrial organization, lack of clarity in the definition of the responsibilities and shortage of the suppliers in the deliveries of the equipments with the respective technical and security specifications. These difficulties led to delays above 33 to 95 weeks for the implementation of the partial action plan. As a result, conjectures were identified for improvement, and recommendations were made to prevent further causes of delaying in the implementation of environmental actions and improvement of the environmental performance of the industrial organization.
