B-Learning: implementação numa escola e sua avaliação

Abstract

Este trabalho de investigação teve como objectivo estudar e avaliar a implementação da metodologia b-Learning (blended-Learning), isto é, presencial e à distância, numa escola dos 2.º e 3.º ciclos do ensino básico. Neste âmbito, pretendeu-se verificar o grau de envolvimento da escola na implementação desta metodologia de ensino a nível do órgão de gestão, dos docentes e dos alunos. Com este trabalho quis-se ainda avaliar o grau de satisfação dos agentes educativos relativamente a vários aspectos aliados à implementação da metodologia b-Learning. Tratando-se de um trabalho de Investigação-Acção, esta investigação foi suportada por uma revisão da literatura em que se abordaram áreas fundamentais, tais como o ensino à distância, o e-learning e o b-learning. Foi também devidamente fundamentada a opção por este tipo de investigação. Os resultados finais mostram que, de uma forma geral, a implementação desta metodologia de ensino teve sucesso, uma vez que os agentes educativos aderiram facilmente à sua aplicação/ exploração e consideraram proveitosos os benefícios da sua utilização para o processo ensino-aprendizagem.

The purpose of this research essay was to study and assess the implementation of the b-Learning (blended-learning) methodology, that is, combining both face-to-face instruction and computer mediated learning, in a basic (middle) school. With this context, we tried to check how much the school was involved in this methodology implementation regarding to the directive board, the teachers and the students. Furthermore, we also wanted to evaluate the level of fulfillment of the instructive staff as far as the whole context of this b-Learning methodology is concerned. As is it a fully research and on-site testing essay, this work was supported by a thorough reading of the various literature about several topics, such as the distance learning, the e-Learning and the b-Learning. The option of this type of study was also conveniently supported on evidence. The final results show that, in a general way, the implementation of this teaching or pedagogic methodology was successful, thus the teaching staff got easily involved in its real settlement and development. The usage benefits of this system to the teaching and learning process were widely considered very important.
