A orquestra como instrumento dinamizador de meios desfavorecidos

Abstract

Este trabalho irá apresentar um projecto educativo que tem a música, os instrumentos e a orquestra, como meio privilegiado, profícuo e potente dinamizador de qualidades humanas. Começará por ser estabelecida uma contextualização geográfica, humana e cultural da zona em que este projecto foi implementado, considerado por muitos, uma das zonas mais desfavorecidas e problemáticas da cidade do Porto. Num seguinte capítulo será elaborado o resultado de uma investigação e um enquadramento teórico, contornando temas fulcrais, englobando deste modo a área da música, da psicologia, da pedagogia e da filosofia, entre conceitos, estratégias, personalidades e paradigmas. Será feita uma averiguação e verificação dos resultados e dos objectivos propostos e conseguidos, tanto humanos como musicais, por meio de tabelas, questionários e gráficos. No final, será redigida uma conclusão e reflexão final de todo o projecto em si, e do poder da música num espírito de contribuição e generosidade, e nos efeitos irrefutáveis que podem resultar nos meios mais complexos e desfavorecidos. Também se reflectirá sobre as vantagens e desvantagens de certas estratégias pedagógicas usadas, criadas e desenvolvidas no âmbito deste projecto.

In this work it will be presented an educative project which has the music, the instruments, and the orchestra as a privileged useful and powerful transformer of human being qualities. It will start with a geographic human and cultural contextualization of the area where this project was implemented, considered by many, one of the most problematic and disfavored zones of the Oporto city. In the following chapter the results of an inquiry and a theoretical framing will be elaborated, surrounding the main subjects as it is the music, psychology, pedagogy and philosophy, describing concepts, strategies and paradigms and presenting important personalities in this field. It will be made an ascertainment and verification of the results and of the obtained objectives proposed in the beginning of the project, human as musical ones, by means of questionnaires and graphs. In the end, it will be written a conclusion and final reflection of the project in itself, and of the power of music in a spirit of contribution and generosity, and in the irrefutable effect that can result in the more complex and disfavored means. It will also reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of certain pedagogical strategies used, created and developed in the scope of this project.
