Relatório de estágio em edição nas edições Almedina

Abstract

O presente trabalho corresponde ao relatório do estágio em edição realizado no Departamento Editorial da Almedina, entre Janeiro e Maio de 2009. Numa primeira parte, esboça-se a história desta casa editora ao longo de mais de 50 anos e apresenta-se o modus operandi do departamento editorial nas diversas fases do processo editorial. Numa segunda parte, que constitui o cerne do trabalho, descrevem-se detalhada e criticamente as funções exercidas e as actividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do estágio, procurando enquadrá-las em referenciais teóricos. Como corolário do trabalho desenvolvido, na parte final dedica-se um capítulo à discussão das especificidades da edição jurídica e académica.

ABSTRACT: This work corresponds to the report of the internship in publishing held at the editorial department of Almedina between January and May 2009. The first part outlines the history of this publishing house over more than 50 years and presents the modus operandi of the editorial department at the various stages of the editorial process. The second part, which is the heart of the work, describes detailed and critically the duties and activities carried out under the internship, looking to put them into in a theoretical framework. As a corollary of the work accomplished, a final chapter discusses the specificities of the legal and academic publishing.
