Identificação e detecção da fragilidade em troços de ribeiras do Porto

Abstract

A cidade do Porto é caracterizada pelos vários cursos de água que nela nascem e flúem. Estes cursos foram em tempos rios e ribeiros importantes para a sustentabilidade e desenvolvimento da cidade. O crescimento e expansão da cidade fez com que muitos destes rios e ribeiros fossem total ou parcialmente canalizados sem respeitar a grande importância que tiveram em tempos no abastecimento de água à população, utilizando-os mesmo como colectores de esgoto doméstico e até de saneamento. Este trabalho teve como objectivo verificar qual o estado actual da Ribeira de Aldoar, Nevogilde, Ervilheira, Asprela e Rio Tinto, assim como o estado dos taludes das margens e dos colectores entubados, propondo-se uma solução para uma possível requalificação. O trabalho envolveu numa fase inicial o levantamento e reconhecimento do traçado dos cursos de água atribuídos a este trabalho com base na cartografia existente (Carta de Condições de Drenagem de Superfície à escala 1/10000). Numa fase seguinte foi cartografada toda a informação recolhida em plantas fornecidas pela Empresa Águas do Porto à escala 1/1000. Por fim foi efectuada a caracterização ao nível geotécnico e hidrogeotécnico. Um estudo desta índole pretende contribuir para uma melhor gestão do geoespaço quer em termos históricos e patrimoniais, quer no que toca à conservação do leito dos rios e ribeiras.

ABSTRACT: The city of the Port is characterized by the some water courses that in are born and flow. These courses had been in times important streams rivers and for the sustentabilidade and development of the city. The growth and expansion of the city made with that many of these rivers and total streams or were partially canalized without respecting the great importance exactly that had had in times in the water supply the population, using them as collectors of domestic sewer and even of sanitation. This work had as objective to verify which the current state of the Ribeira de Aldoar, Nevogilde, Ervilheira, Asprela and Rio Tinto, as well as the state of slopes of edges and the collectors tubed s, considering itself a solution for a possible requalification. The work on the basis of involved in an initial phase the survey and recognition of the tracing of the water courses attributed to this work the existing cartography (Letter of Conditions of Draining of Surface to scale 1/10000). In a following phase the information collected in plants supplied for the Company was mapped all Waters of the Port to scale 1/1000. Finally the characterization to the geotechnical and hydrogeotechnical level was effectuated. A study of this nature it intends to contribute for one better management of geospace wants in historical terms and patrimonial, it wants in that touches to the conservation of the riverbed and streams.
