sistema integrado World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
A metodologia
Chrysler Automotive. The project has as its main theme the management and reduction of quality controls in a company of the foundry industry, Funfrap - Fundição Portuguesa, based on three methodologies of the integrated system World Class Manufacturing (WCM). The concept of quality has evolved over time, where initially only the final product was inspected and the costs associated with this control were accounted for. And it’s due to the development of this, that industries need to improve their quality and production process, through various tools, being the continuous improvement (kaizen) and waste reduction, the two principles that guide this change. The implementation of the QA Network matrix allowed the mapping and analysis of all the defects and associated controls throughout the process allowing to identify several improvements, where through a Standard Kaizen it was possible to save 18954 €. The Ocurrence & Release methodology motivated an intensive study of all workstations in three sectors (molding, core sector, finishing and painting) defining interventions to optimize the work developed, where a Major Kaizen was elaborated with a benefit that could amount to 30,000 €. With the 8 Stages of incoming material it was possible to perceive the importance of the costs of prevention and the rigorous application of all the steps of the methodologies to obtain good results. The development of these three mini projects allowed us to reach another point in the quality pillar in the audit carried out by Fiat Chrysler Automotive. |
