impactos no meio ambiente.
The increase of the demands of society, has lead to inevitable changes and impacts on the environment. Statistical date from the European Union, buildings are responsible for 40% of total energy consumption. In order to reduce energy consumption levels different directives, nodes and update of thermal codes have been developed to promote the must objective of sustainability and protect the environment for future generations. Therefore, with the aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere, amongst many codes, standards and design tools created, the Passive House concept, which is applied for new buildings, and the concept of EnerPHit, is used in existing buildings and the nZEB concept (nearly zero energy buildings). In Portugal there is a social and economic reality of the neighborhoods of social housing, where there is a population of the most disadvantaged social class, without financial resources and consequently without practices of heating and / or cooling and ventilation of the interior environment and still with problems of overheating of the spaces. Thus, passive rehabilitation strategies should be adopted, which, although having a high initial investment, in the long run have relatively low operating costs with acceptable thermal comfort. It was chosen as the case study a multifamily social housing building from the 80´s. A numerical model was developed and based on the typology of the original construction, with the aim of assessing thermal comfort conditions. Finally, different parametric studies were carried out with the goal of assessing whether the thermal comfort of a certain flat (called target flat) is influenced by the occupation of adjacent flats of the same building. This is important in the guidance of solutions and measures for the rehabilitation of multifamily building typology. |
