Relatório de estágio na ABC traduções: a tradução na área jurídica

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio visa essencialmente dar a conhecer o trabalho desenvolvido ao longo do estágio curricular, sendo abordados os vários aspetos implicados nesse mesmo trabalho. Ao mesmo tempo, pretende fazer uma ligação da componente prática à teoria da tradução jurídica. Apesar de alguns pontos teóricos da tradução geral serem mencionados, o enfoque residirá sobre a tradução na área jurídica, onde muito se aborda a linguagem presente neste género de documentos, por constituir um elemento fulcral no trabalho do tradutor jurídico que levanta muitos problemas.

This report intends essentially to show the work performed along the curricular internship through the approach of the several aspects that were involved. At the same time, it aims to make a connection between the practical part and the theory of law translation. Although some theoretical points of general translation are mentioned, the focus is given to law translation, where the language found in this type of documents is very discussed due to its importance in the law translator's work and the translation problems it causes.
