Síndrome de Asperger: tradução e terminologia

Abstract

Este projeto de tradução insere-se no âmbito da Saúde e Ciências da Vida, sendo o texto traduzido um excerto de um guia teórico-prático, em espanhol, acerca da Síndrome de Asperger, elaborado pela Asociación Asperger España. Para além de uma apresentação das principais características desta patologia, será feita uma reflexão acerca do processo tradutológico, bem como sobre a terminologia relativa à temática da Síndrome de Asperger. Por fim, o glossário bilingue (ES-PT) criado após a tradução representa o resultado final da recolha e análise de terminologia efetuadas ao longo do processo de tradução.

This translation project can be found within the theme of Health and Science with the translated text being an extract from a theoretical-practical guide, in Spanish, regarding the Asperger Syndrome, written by the Asociación Asperger España. Apart from the presentation of the main characteristics of this disease, a reflexion will be made about the translation process, as well as the terminology related to Asperger Syndrome’s subject area. Finally, the bilingual glossary (ES-PT) developed after the translation represents the result of the gathering and analysis of the terminology during the translation process.
