This study falls within the context of the formation of the Masters course in teaching 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education. It is inserted in the Portuguese area and focuses on the theme of narrative technique by newly literate children or in literacy. The research aims to identify the type of metalinguistic review operations and understand the characteristics of oral erasures commented that newly literate students perform more often and when they assume different roles in the act of writing. In carrying out certain type of metalinguistic review and oral erasures operations, the students are reflecting on the language itself, thus providing the development of metalinguistic ability of each element of the dyad. Thus, analyzing and achieving the first two objectives, it is possible to analyze the metalinguistic awareness of the dyad elements. The corpus of data was collected by the International Cooperation Project InterWriting - I. Together with other partners, this project has developed a system that allowed the capture and synchronization of a movie-write, a filmdyad, the Audio-students, the sheet of paper with the finished text, as well as transcripts of the comments of the dyad. All elements such as synchronized, form an important database from which it was possible to develop this study. Thus, the data corpus consists of four textual productions collaboratively written by a dyad of students belonging to a school from Aveiro area at the time attending the 2nd grade. The results allow us to see that the students perform four types of metalinguistic operations previously defined review. However, various types have very different occurrence numbers between them, and frequency appear in the following order: Replacement > suppression > adding > displacement. Regarding commented oral erasures, it was concluded that the students carry out all types of erasures except for lexical erasure. When students take on the role of writer, the erasure of the text type is the most widely produced, then the spell erasure. When students take on the role of orato after erasure spell arises, in order of frequency the graphic-visual and punctuation. Thus it commented that the oral erasures are related to the time of learning in which students are placed, and the excessive educational and social value of spelling. Based on the results, we also found that the students performed above all comments relating to the form, although occasionally the do on the text of the content.
