Andanças do turismo criativo

Abstract

A criatividade é no contexto actual (re)descoberta como elemento estratégico nos processo de desenvolvimento, nomeadamente no turismo. O turismo criativo advoga a existência de turistas que desejam contactar e aprender mais sobre aspectos culturais específicos dos destinos que visitam, participando e interagindo activamente com a comunidade local, expressando e desenvolvendo as suas competências criativas. Este paradigma coloca novos desafios na relação entre a oferta e a procura na co-criação de experiências significativas. O Festival Internacional de Danças Populares Andanças é o ponto de partida para a reflexão desta nova realidade.

ABSTRACT: The creativity is in the actual context (re)discovered as a strategic element in the development process, namely in tourism. The use of creativity in tourism, particularly in the development of the cultural tourism, is the answer to the wishes of the demand and supply. The creative tourism argues that there are many tourists seeking to be in touch and learn more about specific cultural aspects of the destination they are visiting, participating and interacting with the local community, expressing and developing their creative skills. This paradigm brings new challenges to the relationship between the touristic demand and supply, namely in the co-production of meaningful experiences. The Festival Internacional de Danças Populares Andanças is only possible with the active involvement of the participants.
