. The Adult Day Services (ADS) it is characterized as a social facilities that gives support to the elderly dependent and their families. The present study has as objectives: to characterize the user profile; to evaluate the satisfaction of the user with the services of the ADS and subsequently a study about variables that impact significantly over the dimension of global satisfaction. For that it was used an Evaluation of the Day Care Centre Questionnaire which obtained data from 186 users of 12 institutions. The main results show a predominance of the female sex and marital status widow, average of ages higher than 77 years old and low education, independence in the basic daily life activities and support of the carer. The procedures of application of the Searching Factorial Analysis indicate Main Axis Factoring. Were obtained 4 factors (37,1% of variance) and the items that did not satisfied the criterion for further SEM were eliminated. First, models have been created for each scale to check their consistency, Satisfaction Scale with life ( 2  = 25,4; gl= 14; p=0,031),the Social Environment Scale ( 2  =154,8; gl=98; p<0,001);and Satisfaction Global Scale ( 2  = 33,7; gl=9; p<0.001). The Global Satisfaction , in relation to the subscales included the Social Environment Scale, presents statistically satisfactory values of adjustment kindness ( 2  =472.1; gl=206; p<0,001) and the interaction has a higher weight in the expression of the variable “global satisfaction” (0,85), comparatively to the others. Then, the model of “structure” and “interior” dimensions were globally very small ( 2  = 5,3; gl=4; p<0,22) expressing possibly an independency between dimensions, and therefore it is included in the following model, autonomously, to identify his impaction in “global satisfaction”, resulting in a satisfactory model ( 2  = 119,6; gl=43; p<0,001). Finally, another model has been developed ( 2  = 212,753; gl=89; p<0.001), which analyses the impaction over “global satisfaction” by “health care” (-1.00) and “activity services” (-.07). The results seem to suggest that the ADS’s should focus on the quality of their staff since their users appreciate the interaction with the workers and in the health care services that are offered.
