D7.3: Inter-lamp Networking

Abstract

The LITES project deliverable “D7.3 – Inter-lamp Networking” reports to the activities developed by the UAV team members under work package 7 (Optimization of sensors), Task 7.3 (Inter-lamp networking infrastructure). In a brief description, this report starts by presenting the developments performed on the customized sensor solution initially proposed. It is then followed by a review on the different technologies commercially available and easily deployable by the industrial partner. The following text is divided into 4 sections. Section 1 presents the communication system for the customized solution. Section 2 presents a possible control solution based on the known “corridor function”. In complement section 3 presents the available networking possibilities for gathering sensor information. Finally Section 4 presents some considerations via a comparative analysis on the implementation of the system.
