Gestão de energia na indústria automóvel: o caso Renault Cacia

Abstract

A eficiência energética na indústria assume uma importância crescente no desempenho económico das organizações. Este trabalho apresenta uma revisão da literatura acerca da racionalização de energia na indústria, através de ferramentas de gestão, de tecnologias e de políticas energéticas. É apresentada uma análise de um caso de estudo de uma indústria metalomecânica, sendo que o objectivo principal deste trabalho é avaliar a viabilidade económica para a implementação de medidas que visem aumentar a eficiência energética global das instalações. As conclusões relativas à viabilidade dos investimentos propostos são fundamentadas com a apresentação dos respetivos custos de investimento e períodos de retorno e com o impacto por estas causado na factura energética global.

Energy efficiency in the industry has an increasing importance in the economic performance of the organizations. This paper presents a review of the literature concerning energy rationing in the industry through management tools, technology and energy policies It presents an analysis of a case study on a metalworking industry, being the main purpose of this study the evaluation of the economic feasibility for implementation of measures aiming to increase the overall energy efficiency of the facility. The conclusions regarding the viability of the proposed investments are based on the display of their respective investment costs, payback periods and its impact on the global energy bill.
